A regular denture that rests on the gums tends to fit less firmly. An implant-supported denture snaps onto attachments on the implants, providing better retention to the overdenture. The overdenture is normally made of an acrylic base that will look like gums. You won’t have to worry about your denture slipping or having to use an adhesive to keep it in place.
